The region leader gets pasted by Christian County, who should be considered now as region favorite.

The battle of supremacy in the weak 9th region wasn't as close as I first thought it would be.
--Greenwood d. Bowling Green 66-60
The Gators battle back from a tough week.
--Lafayette d. Lexington Catholic 61-57
Lafayette is one of those rare teams who could beat anyone and lose to anyone on a given night.
--Paducah Tilghman d. Heath 70-54
Perhaps the Blue Tornado will wind back up thanks to this key win.
--Russell d. Ashland Blazer 63-54
Blazer is close, but not quite to the same level as the Red Devils. Sounds like football many times.

Like the 9th region battle, I expected a much closer game.
